Witches Night Out 40th Birthday Party

I've always wanted to have a witches night out party and my friend turning 40 was a great opportunity to plan one.
We had treats, made a craft and gave prizes for best witch hats & best witch shoes.

My friend Megan Plaisted made this beautiful cake.

This is the Heidi Swapp letter board.

The birthday girl!

Some of our lovely witches.

Some more lovely witches.

My decorated witch hat.

The cool halloween craft we made.
We used this tutorial and got project suggestions from my ultra crafty friend, Libby Ferguson.

Cinema Lightbox Fun

I have been wanting a cinema lightbox for the longest time and now I finally have one and I love it!! Woohoo! Thanks to UncommonGoods for sending me one!

So happy that I can use my lightbox to share a little positive message for stormy days. :)
This original lightbox, can be found here, along with many more creative home decor items.

Front Entry Bench Cushion

I reorganized my mudroom and decided to move this bench from the mudroom to the front entryway.  It's a tight squeeze, but it works in this space.

Polar Bear Themed Baby Shower

For a baby boy due in the winter I created a polar bear themed baby shower with whites and blues.
I love how it all turned out.

Here is the tablescape with all the yummy food.

Here are the cute polar bears that I used as inspiration.

Pick Your Plum 3 Tiered Stand

I've seen this stand on the Internet many times and I love how versatile it is. I saw it on sale at Pick Your Plum and I just had to have it. The day I got it, I set it up and decorated it for Christmas. Imagine how many uses this stand will have. I can't wait to use it all year round.

It's the perfect place for my Christmas Geese!

Alba Christmas Tree 2016

This year I was so fortunate to get this awesome tree from Michael's! They surprised four random Instagram followers with a dream tree as part of their Dream Tree Home Tour, and I was one of the lucky ones!  Thank you so much, Michael's!!!!

This year I wanted to create a garland to go with the tree skirt that I made (post on that to follow). I ripped fabric in about 3"strips, gathered it and put it on the tree. I love how it turned out.

Donut Bar Wedding Reception

Last weekend I had the opportunity to help with a family wedding reception and it was so fun to decorate with a donut bar.

This sign was made by a friend of the bride and it was so cute! Who doesn't need love and donuts?!

This was the sign in table.

Money Lei

Graduation is right around the corner.
So give that special graduate the gift of aloha, a lei or money.
Or what's better?
How about a Money Lei.
Sometimes I like to think I'm funny and creative.

Or daughter graduated in 2015 and I wanted to make her a lei (with money of course). But I really wanted her lei to be feminine.

Easter Project from Heidi Swapp with FREE printables

Today I'm sharing a beautiful FREE Easter project from Heidi Swapp.

I loved this idea so much because each scripture included really helps to tell the story of Easter and when we get to the last card we have to ponder what it really means to us that He did it all for us, as an individual. What does that mean to you?
